Western Wedding Centerpieces

Having a Western themed wedding? Then you'll want to arrange some western wedding centerpieces. Here are some ideas for things that you could use to decorate your reception tables.

Flowers are one of the most popular items for using as centerpieces. A bunch of yellow roses on each table (The Yellow Rose of Texas) would look good if this color fits into the rest of your theme. You can buy the roses yourself and arrange them in a low glass vase. Loosely tie some pale yellow tulle or organza around the vase to provide a finishing touch.

Many Western weddings have a red, white and blue theme to them. You could use flowers that are available in these colors. The centerpiece below was for a July 4th celebration but could be adapted for a wedding.

There is plenty of choice of red, and white flowers but there are fewer blue flowers. Hydrangea and delphiniums are naturally blue. Alternatively you could use roses that have been placed in blue dye. These can look striking and will look great next to red and white roses.

Another item you could use as a centrepiece is a decorated cowboy boot. This could be a real boot that you decorate with personal objects. If you don't like the idea of a real boot on the table you could get your caterer to make some cowboy boot shaped cakes.

There are plenty of western theme wedding favors available. These have horseshoe designs, cowboy boots and Stetson hats. You could make a western wedding centerpiece by simply putting all of the favors into the center of the table and displaying them nicely. You could display them on a stand that is covered with a red and white check cloth to stay with the cowboy theme.

Having a western theme wedding can be great fun. By incorporating western wedding centerpieces you will add to the atmosphere on the day.
