Wedding Table Decorations

There are plenty of wedding table decorations that you can use at your reception venue. The most popular is a table centerpiece but you can also use table confetti, votive candles and wedding favors..

The centerpiece above was created by using blue and white hydrangea flowers arranged around a central candle. The candle is enclosed by a hurricane lamp. This provides a nice decorative finish to the display. It also has a practical use if there are draughts at your venue or you’re having your reception outdoors.

A nice touch that you can see here is to use votive candles. These are small candles that will give a romantic feel to your venue when the main lights are dimmed.

Other wedding table decorations that are popular include using table confetti. These are now available in small packets from wedding vendors and sellers on eBay. An alternative to confetti is to buy some colored glass pebbles. These can be used in the bottom of flower vases and also scattered across the tables.

You can also make your wedding favors into wedding decorations by arranging them neatly on the tables. You can either put them at each place setting or arrange them centrally.

You can create pretty wedding table decorations from the napkins. Speak to your venue or caterer about folding them into attractive shapes. Alternatively you could tie them with colored ribbon. You could even place a single flower at each place setting on the napkin.
