Top Table Centerpieces

It is traditional to have a top table centerpiece just in front of the bride and groom at a wedding reception. Here are some popular ways to do this.

The photo above shows a lovely top table centrepiece created from stargazer lilies and roses. Not only does this centerpiece look great but it also smells fantastic as well. Florists sometimes call this a ‘long and low’ arrangement on account of its shape. For a wedding top table, it is often created so that it cascades down the front of the table making a lovely decoration for your guests to see.

One of the important things about a top table decoration is that you don’t want it to be too big; else your guests won’t be able to see you. Also you don’t want it to be too deep, as this will restrict the room available for your place settings.

Another way to decorate the top table is to have a series of small arrangements along the front of the table. For instance you could place a series of 5 square vases across the front of the top table, each filled with roses.
