Using photo centerpieces are an inexpensive way to decorate your wedding reception. They're also a great icebreaker or conversation starter for your guests.

How To Make Photo Centerpieces

You don’t need a lot of expensive equipment to produce your wedding photo centerpieces. The main thing to try to achieve is an attractive stand to place the photos on. These can be bought or you can make them yourself out of boxes covered in silk material (as in the photo above). By making them yourself, you can give your wedding reception decorations the same color as the rest of your theme.

You can get your photos copied quite cheaply nowadays. You can just go to the chemist to get it done or there are machines in many of the larger supermarkets. Don’t worry too much about putting them into expensive frames. If you’re on a budget you can simply mount them on good quality card from an artists’ or craft shop.

Try to get a good mixture of photos of both bride and groom. Ask family and friends to contribute. Baby pictures are always popular.

Finishing Touches

You can finish your photo centerpiece by placing the favors at the base of the decoration. This will make the whole table decoration seem larger. You could also place a small bunch of roses in a small vase in the center of your display.
