Long Centerpieces

When people talk about centerpieces, they usually mean decorations in the centre of a round table. But what if you’re having long tables? Here are some ideas for long centerpieces at your wedding.

The arrangements in the photo on the left are green hydrangeas, together with pink roses. These would be ideal as a decoration that runs down the centre of the long table at a wedding reception.

The photo on the right shows elegant rose centerpieces that are in delicate glass containers. In between each of the arrangements is a small candle to give an intimate feel to the evening.

On long tables there is often restricted space. There are people sitting on both sides of the table, and once the cutlery and crockery has been put in place there is precious little room left for decorations.

This is where you need to plan ahead a little. The best types of decorations are low so that they don’t get in people’s way. You can create some long and low arrangements or repeat a small flower arrangement down the table.
