Edible Centerpieces

Here are some ideas for edible centerpieces. Not only are these a great way to decorate your reception tables, but they taste great as well.

The photo above is of strawberries dipped in chocolate. This is absolutely delicious and a lot less messy than having a chocolate fountain at your wedding.

If you think that the chocolate makes it a bit unhealthy, you can have just a fruit version. In fact there are companies that specialise in making ‘fruit bouquets’. They look just like a standard flower bouquet but they are made from fruit. These would be perfect as an edible centerpiece.

If you’re having a tropical or beach wedding, then a fruit centerpiece made from a pineapple, bananas and coconut would look fantastic. The colors would also be perfect for your theme.

Another choice would be to have a cupcake wedding centerpiece. These are just great fun, and they’re becoming a more popular sight at weddings in recent years. Everyone gets to have their little individual cake – what could be more perfect then that?

Have you ever been to a wedding where the buffet has run out, or you’ve had to wait ages to be served? By having edible centerpieces you’re doing more than just decorating the tables - you’re providing your guests with plenty to nibble on should they get a bit peckish.
