Amaryllis Centerpieces
Amaryllis centerpieces are tall and elegant. The flowers are large and trumpet shaped making them quite a spectacle to behold. The most commonly seen varieties are red, pink and white in color.

This photo has some red amaryllis centerpieces and it demonstrates that you do not necessarily need to be complicated to get a great finish with this flower.
Amaryllis are grown from bulbs and are available from florists as a cut flower. When they are purchased from a flower wholesaler they are in bud. They take a few days to come into bloom.
This is where the skill of an experienced florist can be a great help. The red amaryllis centerpiece in the photo above could just do with coming out just a little bit more.

When you get the timing just right, the flowers will look like the photograph above. I’ll think you’ll agree they look absolutely stunning.
Amaryllis are traditionally associated with Christmas. They are available in the autumn and winter months.
